Clone Wars Starts tonite!!!

Well...I'm really regretting turning off my cable at this time..lol

But Star Wars Clone Wars starts tonite...and I found a great lil blurb about it over @ I09, best thing is..we can watch it online..so I'll definately be watching..although..I have a horrible confession..I still haven't seen the movie yet...maybe this weekend..I can convince the GF we can go..hahaha

here's the Io9 article,

The new Clone Wars series begins tonight on Cartoon Network at 9pm — but if you have a social life, there's more than just TiVo waiting to help you get your latest dose of Jedi juice. (Including Master Plo Koon and some clones under siege, as seen in this newly released promo image.) In fact, Lucasfilm and Warner Bros are going all out in an attempt to make sure that, if you have access to the internet, there's almost no way you can miss the new animated version of George Lucas' vision.

The day after an episode premieres on Cartoon Network, television-phobic fans will be able to buy it on iTunes, or else wait a week and watch it for free on both Cartoon Network's website and StarWars.com. In addition, StarWars.com will also be offering a regular podcast about the show as well as a weekly Clone Wars webcomic; iTunes will also have last week's Cartoon Network 30-minute behind-the-scenes Clone Wars Preview available for free.

Of course, all of this online promotion may backfire in terms of television ratings. After all, with everything that's available online, you might wonder why you'd need to turn on your television at all...

Seth Mcfarlanes new Comedy project

So,

we've all seen family guy, and know how they go into "like that time I..." and cut to a short (sometimes long...) scene which makes up most of the show....now we have a new project coming from the creators of Family Guy.

Anybody watch Fringe?...

Ok so I watched the 90 minute premier last night.

Check it out here-

ehhh...not bad...it's no lost..

basically..it starts off with a flight from "germany" (I think) in which they are going through ain electrical storm. Some guy is freaking out with axiety and gives himself an insulin shot, the minutes later, every passenger on the entire plane's face melts off...

flash forward to boston airport...where the.."plane landed it self"...and they go in wearing HAZMAT suits....where they find a plane full of skeletons...

there's 2 FBI people having a forbidden love affair, who end up on the same case (the plane)

we find out later they burn the plane..to erase chance of "infection"..ok..so we're "kinda buying this so far...
then...
a FBI investigation pairs up a "liason" and a head strong FBI guy who alreadyt has a vendetta against the lead female character for some investigation that laanded his friend in jail..

whatever...so they find a link to these storage units in which the lead female and her lover go investigate...they uncover a slew of lab's in storage units..a chase ensues...the suspect leads them back through the storage facility, and blows it up via cell phone..infecting the FBI angent with some chemical/virus making his skin clear and becoming liquified..

soo..yeah up to now...I'm kinda believing still..but here's where..just goes weird

so...they find some crackpot scientist in a mental hospital..get it so he can get out if his son is with him, they revisit his lab 20 years later, bring a cow in, make LSD, put the girl in a sensory dep tank tripping and wired to the "melting guy" to see if she can read his thoughts for a description of the suspect..

it works, she draws up a face picture..they find out it looks like he was one of the people on the plane..then..omg..he has a twin..who is crazy, killed his brother with these chemicals..was the guy doing lab work...bla bla bla

so then crazy doctor saves the melting fbi guy only to find out that the FBI guy was really in cahoots with the "corperation" (also a member is the woman with a robot arm)...

yeah..it kept going...

basically..this is another attempt @ a "lost" type of following on Fox...but I felt this was too Xfiles related to stick..I will try to keep watching, as they hinted alot toward Mind Reading, Regeneration, Psychokinesis...alot of fun things, all the things which made X-files a great show....

anyone else watch it? I'd love to hear some other opinions.

we shall see
